Our President, Frank Velasquez
Frank Velasquez has a vision to deliver true value first for our customers and then our partners. This vision will be attained by retaining the highest level of integrity and commitment to meeting our customers’ business objectives, keeping certified for our vendor solutions and committing to understand our customers’ real business problems. Frank has 20+ years’ experience in business and technology sales leadership. He has led large enterprise sales teams for AVCOM Technologies, Veritas and Symantec Corporation. Frank has his Bachelor of Science degree from California State University Hayward. In Frank’s spare time he enjoys his wife and 5 home schooled children, golf, running and coaching soccer.
Our Director of Engineering Services, Eugene Alfaro
Prior to his role with Cornerstone Technologies, Eugene designed the global IT infrastructures and developed the IT teams at a number of multinational and public companies including Simpson Strong-Tie, BigBand Networks and iManage (acquired by Interwoven). Eugene has authored articles for Tech Target, a leading global technology media company and is an expert architect with a passion for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). One of Eugene’s relished experiences was architecting and re-engineering the VDI environment for Simpson Strong-Tie used by over 2000 employees and external parties to achieve 100% virtualization for 90% of their end-user base. Eugene attended San Jose State University, where he majored in Computer Science. After hours you can find Eugene enjoying time at home with his wife and two beautiful children. Eugene also enjoys riding his cruiser motorcycle, his loving “pit bull” and discovering any hole in the wall restaurant that serves “cabeza” or “lengua”.
Our Acting CFO, Mark Malone
Continues to deliver the highest level of financial success for Cornerstone Technologies, by implementing disciplines and practices that have been known to work. With over twenty years of experience in the high-tech and finance world, Mark provides high quality and detailed financial analysis to support Cornerstone Technologies at the highest level necessary. Mark’s breadth of experience includes: AVCOM Technologies where he was CFO, SharkRack where he was CEO and Ernst and Young. Mark has also been very involved in numerous mergers and acquisitions, with the latest including Black Duck Software’s acquisition of SpikeSource. Mark has his undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University. Mark enjoys his time with his wife and two daughters, as well as playing golf and
going to sporting events when he can find the time.
Our Director of Finance, Jim Plutchak
Jim has over 25 years of business experience. Jim's entrepreneurial background has uniquely qualified him to lead Cornerstone's Operations. Jim has been a small business owner for over 20 years and previously he led PIC Systems nation-wide deployment for inventory control systems. Jim has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree from Liberty University. When Jim isn’t commuting he enjoys his time with his wife and grown kids. Jim raises Goldens and
Labradors in his spare time and carries his “Slingbox” everywhere he goes.
